Kyla Antonio is a Filipino artist currently pursuing a BFA in Studio Art at the University of Texas in Austin. Growing up in a third-world country taught her to look for the beauty and light in everything. Although she is still exploring her artistic voice, a common theme with Kyla’s works is perseverance within Filipino culture. She acknowledged from a young age how this strength is derived from a variety of human emotions and became fascinated with painting traditional figures and portraits since.

Live wedding painting started as a side hustle Kyla began during her high school years, and now, adopting into a professional career after years of fine art education and experience. Taking part of a couple’s most special day, where they’re surrounded by the people who love them most, is what fuels Kyla to capture the magic as felt on one’s wedding day. She believes that Live Wedding Painting is more than just a service. To her, it is an honor to manifest a lifetime’s worth of love into one masterpiece.
